QUICK: Geforce 2 PRO VS ULTRA which should i buy?

GeForce 2 PRO OR ULTRA. WHICH SHOULD I BUY... FACTOR IN PRICE AND RELATIVE COST FOR SPEED...

Pro without a doubt, you have the o/clocking option and the price is sweet.

I like the MSI Pro 815, but i have heard other people that arent fond of them

on pricewatch the gf3 is 299, the ultra 209 I personally would spend the extra on the gf3.Especially if one of your concerns is 2d quality! Having a geforce ddr/creative gf2ultra/vtek gf3 the gf3 has the best 2d image quality!
Plus in games you will be able to enable 4x fsaa and get smooth framerates at 1280x1024x32!
Plus when doom3/unreal2/max payne come out you will be able to enjoy the dx8 feature set that the gf3 has without upgrading your card again!

The Pro is only $138 on Pricewatch and will do you fine on that monitor.

GF2 Pro is the best value in Vid Cards, for $150 on prciewatch and putting up near GF2 Ultra performance, but if you shell out another $75-$100 you can get the Higher performing Ultra.
