When someone runs out of bounds, does the ball get marked at the point where he last touched the playing field inbounds, the point where he first touched the playing field out of bounds, or does the ref draw an imaginary line between the two points and mark the ball at the point where that line intersects the out of bounds line?

Where he first goes out of bounds... imagine a WR at the 1 yard line jumping out of bounds, but parallel with the TD area...
