Quick fix for quarterpanel paint hole/damage?

So I have this pretty sizable hole in the quarterpanel of my black Miata.... what would be the least costly repair that doesn't have to be perfect?

It seems to me only the paint is peeling off and there is surface rust. (the rest of the car is not rusted at all only this area because the paint was knocked out from a hit or something)

I am thinking bondo + sanding + rattle can? Would I need to primer it before putting the bondo on top?

I am not looking for perfection just something that will cover this up and not look as hideous. Thanks!

sand the rust down, bondo, sand flush, primer/paint/polish/clearcoat.

the paint might not match, but if you don't care, don't worry about it.
