First ... let me tell you I am in India, and cooling solutions available here are minimal... Hardly any cooling hardware is available...

Anyway... i intend to OC an old P3.... (450mhz). I have it in the HUGE case, so its pretty airy inside...
The only fan currently inside are the regular ones, PSU, CPU, and Graphic Card (Very small fan on an old Diamond Viper 550).

So i am thinking about installing a fan on its side... exactly on top of the CPU (Ram is closeby). Also was considering cutting a hole of the top of the case.

My questions,
1) is the fan placement correct. I dont want to use more than one additional fan...
2) Can I use the FAN from an old PSU?? Its 80 mm, and works fine....
3) Should the FAN blow in or out ....

Pic of the motherboard... just in case it helps... Here.

The CPU (Slot) installed just over the Green SIS chip... and RAM below it...

Important... the CPU, heatsink and the CPU FAN are installed perpendicularly to the motherboard... Should that make a diff in the fan placement??
