right, but when i select all the data, it doesn't graph any of it correctly. if i select just the data in column b, then it will graph that correctly but wouldn't see attach the year value. christ this should be simple. and i'm sure it is. my mind isn't working.
 
In the chart wizard select the Series tab. Now set up your series the way you want the data to display.
