Quick Excel Help

All i'm trying to do is create a simple bar chart and can not get the data access stuff correct. Can anyone help?

Select the data and click the chart button. Then select bar graph.

right, but when i select all the data, it doesn't graph any of it correctly. if i select just the data in column b, then it will graph that correctly but wouldn't see attach the year value. christ this should be simple. and i'm sure it is. my mind isn't working.

In the chart wizard select the Series tab. Now set up your series the way you want the data to display.
