Quick Epox 8K7A Question

Just got some nice Panaflo 80mm fans for my Enlight 7327 case, and was wondering where to plug in the fan that I stick in the rear mount... I noticed there's a point labled 'chassis fan' on the motherboard, but if I use that, how do you people with blowholes and side fans plug in all those extras? Thanks

Blowhole people (hehe, that was fun to type) usually get fans with 4-pin Molex connectors and plug them into a free drive power connector (or use a Y cable, etc.)

Hmmm... I dunno if it's safe to plug any fan above 80 mm into the mobo.. Better look at the wattage consumption first

(so better listen to bozo and plug it into one of the plug for the drives.)

You can buy 80mm fans with 4 pin connectors or buy a 3 to 4 pin adaptor. Best to take your fan power off the ps, not the mb.

Ok... I'm slightly confused... I bought this Panaflow 80mm fan, and it has a little wire coming out which ends in a two pin female connector. Now, the other fan I have, a Magic, has a nice 4 pin male thingy which just plugs into one of my power cables. How do I go about attaching this 2 pin female thing to a 4 pin power thing? (I'm really coherent today, aren't I?) Sorry, and thanks!

Alright... been doing some reading. Now, where do I buy a 2/3pin to 4 pin power supply connector? Radio Shack? Thanks!

you might not have to buy an adapter
if the power cord is long enough, put it on the motherboard.
theres a place for it to plug in that's labled "CHASSIS FAN", which should be on the bottom right of the case. its underneath the multiplier settings, to the left of the red lights that say FF (er.. they might be blank - they just look like two lights you find on a clock - digital number dealies)
if you plug it in this way, you can also regulate the rpm of the fan using a utility like motherboard monitor (actually, epox has a utility on the cd that i like a lot called USDM)
