Would the airline industry before deregulation in 1978 be considered public or private sector? I'm still thinking private sector because government standards/regulation don't necessarily constitute public sector status unless you are dealing with public-owned (i.e., state-owned) corporations... I think? 😕

OK, just making sure gov't regulation of the industry didn't somehow affect the status.

This is not obvious to someone who has not studied Economics. I'm trying to make an assertion about an airline during the period.
