Quick ebay question

right now im the highest bidder for an autction, but i didnt meet the reserve price. So if i happen to win the auction and the person feels comfortable to selling the item for under the reserve price, must i buy it for that price? is that what is stated under ebay's contract? cause i bought another item already and i dont want to be stuck with this auction....

nope you dont have to buy it if its not over reserve price

if the auction ends, and you're the highest bidder without meeting the reserve, nobody wins the auction, and nothing happens. you can also retract your bid, if you'd like.
