I have recently switched from smoothwall to clarkconnect. glad i did! i like it much better


i have a question about registering my own domain. they charge $25 a year, and that seems cheap to me. can i use that domain for everything, like the file server, email server and the like?

is this route more secure then using my ISP's email and server for files? i would think having email come directly to my own machine and not being stored on some ISP server would be much safer.

should i do it?
