How are these supposed to be crimped? I can never get a good crimp on 18/20AWG wire, and I'm using the proper sized terminal. The problem is worse with insulated terminals.

Any ideas? Am I not using the right tool? Should I go with 14/16AWG (kind of a waste for low-voltage signals...)?

Just drop a couple beads of solder where the wire hits the terminal, then fold the edges over to help keep it in place.

Don't forget dilectric (sp?) grease to keep water out.. (if it's a problem)

Personally I prefer the bullet connectors. I'm always doing crap with the motorcycles and the bullet connectors seem a bit more sturdy and have a better connection. However, they don't physically stay connected quite as well (as far as male connector going into female connector)
