Ok, I've got a Dell 2005fpw with some backlight bleed issues, and I've heard the best way to get a good response outta Dell is through the online chat or email.
However, they both ask for the serial number, which I cannot for the life of me find. Dell's website seems to have a guide to find serial numbers on every product they sell EXCEPT monitors.
There's a white sticker with a barcode on it on the bottom left of the back of the monitor (looking at it from behind), however I don't see it on there. There's "Rev A01", which is just the revision, and then there's a long 19 character alphanumeric string. I thought that was it, but all the fields asking for serial numbers on Dell's site will only accept a max of 7 characters.
So where the heck is the serial number?
