I'm in the market for an aluminum case for a C2D system and pretty much narrowed it down to

Lian Li PC-7B PLUS II
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112099

OR

Cooler Master Mystique
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119107

I've read the reviews and all, just wondering if anyone had first-hand experience. I like to tool-free design of the Cooler Master and was wondering if the Lian Li was really of much better quality to choose it (or if the Cooler Master lacked quality).

Do you prefer the door on the Mystique? I find doors completely annoying. I would pick the Lian-Li.

Lian Li have excellent fit and finish but little or nothing in the ease of use except a handfull of thumbscrews. The L-L in question has only two of my "Casitude" criteria: 120mm f/r and looks better than a steaming pile... The Mystique is basically a Centurion done up in aluminum (quite a bit thinner than what L-L uses) and lacks only rubber isolation for the HDDs of my Casitude points. I suppose that tells you which I wouldgo with even though CM user manuals are useless in 8 or 9 languages..

So the CM actually has the rubber to isolate noise on the HDDs? I did notice too that the CM has room for 4 HDDs, not that I have 4 but I was thinking that might allow 2 or so a little more cooling room.

I didn't mind the door on it also. I was mainly wondering if one was more sturdy than another.

The CM LACKS only rubber isolation for the HDDs... The Tt Tsunami is the only relatively inexpensive aluminum case that has the rubber grommets as it is basically an Antec SLK-3000B done in Al.

There is pretty significant difference between the Lian Li and Coolermaster in terms of quality. The tool-less features are boarder line useless in my opinion, I certainly don't see it as benefit.

The only real high-end cases that Coolermaster still makes is the Praetorian and WaveMaster.
