know someone who is buying a vehicle very very soon (within an hour) and has engaged in no research

is there something wrong with this decision so i can talk them out of it?

2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring FWD 4D Sport Utility
28k miles
black / cloth

am/fm/cd
cruise
3rd row seats
power locks, mirrors, seats, windows
rear air/defrost/wiper

$15k at carmax

i know this isn't the optimal way of doing, but is there anything seriously wrong with this?

thanks for your help

A friend of mine has one. Nice car. It doesn't have as gay a stance as a normal SUV, and I kinda dug the navigation position.

My friends one is fully loaded and has some really nice (not loud/blatantly blingish) aftermarket rims on it though.

use kbb.com

yikes! are you a car dealer? use edmunds.com, instead, to get the True Market Value (TMV).

kbb.com favors the dealer - blue book is a compilation of prices that dealers are ASKING for, not for what they are actually selling at.

Chrysler Pacificrap?

I have an uncle that had one provided to him as a work vehicle, and it broke down so many times. Not to mention it's not aesthetically pleasing...

Probably one of the most "Mom" vehicles out there at the moment, but if that's what they're looking for, I don't know why they shouldn't get what they want.
