I have a P5N-E SLI in my HTPC and it boots pretty slowly. The BIOS boot portion takes forever (much longer than the Windows boot portion from the SSD). I don't see a quick boot option or anything in there so I am wondering what a good alternative motherboard would be (LGA775 for a Q6600)? Looking for something used. Thanks for suggestions!

Can you not just use sleep mode, rather than shutting down and restarting...? (This assumes you have Windows 7, where it normally works fairly well assuming there are no hardware issues).
I use sleep mode on my main desktop and my HTPC, 2 seconds to usable. No need to worry about slow booting times.
