quick boot question

well i just built a new computer - dfi lan party nf4 ultra D, and it wont boot. Now ive built many computers in the past, and this one just stumps me. The status light shows 1110, which I think means that its hanging on the cpu. However, I bought this from Monarch, where they pretest their combo builds, so I want to rule out that the proc is installed incorrectly, as I do not want to take the HSF off. The main question is, what are some common noob errors one makes when building a new system.

Note: I have all power connectors plugged in. Ive taken them out, and plugged them back in. Also the system beeps go like this: " beep...(2 seconds)...beep...(2 seconds)" repeat.

Look up the BIOS beep codes for that particular mobo and BIOS, see if that helps you diagnose what is wrong.

it keeps beeping indefinitely (well i got to 30 and then i shut off the comp)

Of course it will keep repeating but there are different beat patterns to beep codes to diagnose problems. Google it.

Found my prob...i think, just switched the order of my ram. Im guessing that i did not push the ram all the way in...(dunno how i missed that...)
