Quick Asus A8N-SLI RAID question

Am I right that the PATA IDE connectors don't support any type of RAID?

No, it supports raid for IDE drives, you can even mix SATA and IDE in an array

Yep.. it's called NVraid.

Ok. But how come section 2.7.2 of the manual says SATA1-4 is NV and SATA_RAID1-4 is SI, but doesn't say anything about PRI_IDE or SEC_IDE doing RAID? In any case, I should be able to plug in the drives and run the NV RAID utility with F10 right?

SATA1-4 and the two IDEs off of the nF chipset will support raid

the SI is limited to the SI (and honestly a bettter HBA)
