Long story short - I have a computer with no floppy drive and I need to make a cd that can boot to the command prompt. No, I can't use the recovery console (long story), and the Win98 CD only detects my CD-ROM and not my hard drive (I don't know, I don't wanna know)... I just need to be able to boot to the command prompt. Can someone point me to a downloadable bootable CD? Not floppy, CD... Thank you so very much!

P.S. Again, my appologies for all caps, but I've been having one of those days...

Thank you, but I've found that one already. I'm not really interested in a set of instructions, I merely want a link to a download for a bootable CD Image... Anyone? Just need to get into friggin' DOS here, worthless WinXP...

I would, but I know it won't be answered any time soon there...

Again, my appologies, I just need a quick link and I'll let it die.

Can someone please help me out?

Let me elaborate a little more as long as I'm waiting... I had a registry file get corrupted (system) I followed the instructions from Microsoft and copied to repair registry files to the system32/config folder. Problem is 3 of the registry files (including sam) got copied into the system32 folder because I apparently didn't have the energy to type "/config" 2 more times... That being said, when I realized what I had done and tried to load the recovery console to fix it it asked for an admin password... okay that should be just blank, so I hit enter, no good because I moved the sam file hence there is no sam file to store the admin password hence I can no longer access the recovery console hence I'm pretty much SOL unless I can boot the command prompt from a CD... I do NOT have a floppy drive, the win98 cd won't let me look at my hard drive (oh how that pisses me off), and all the stuff I've found from google (yes, I know how to use google) has only been for creating a boot disk that supports cd's... I need a boot CD... Anyone? Thank you for your patience/advice!
