What bitrate do mp3s download as from itunes?
I don't use it (obviously) but am using it as an example for a report.

They are 128k m4a files. They're not exactly directly comparable to 128k mp3s...keep that in mind.

also remember that m4a is Apple's DRM enforced version of AAC.
