Quick and dumb Hard Drive question.....

May be a dumb question, but it's something I guess i've never really thought about.

Does running multiple partitions affect performance at all?

Well the partitions closer to the egde of the drive will be slower than the ones closer to the center. But as far as the partitions themselfs effecting performance, they do not.

Keeping Windows on a partition to itself will help it from fragmenting your main partition..
