Quick and dirty response. New rig now or wait for Nehalem?

I want to build a new rig mainly for gaming, I've read the i7 core will not give gaming such a boost as the 20%-50% increase they're claiming. That being said, is it worth waiting for? I'm only willing to wait a month-2 months and I've heard that it won't readily be available until mid 2009 when prices have leveled out and what not.

Just looking for a response - build now or build later when it's out.

Wait until Core i7 comes out and Core 2 prices drop, then buy a Core 2. Problem solved.

Meh, what are you after?...e-penis extension or a gaming system. I doubt you would really appreciate an I7 over a core2....mostly its about the graphic card, monitor, then the CPU...
