QUICK 5 min question - ATT cell phone users HELP!

hey guys - just got a new cellphone with a upstate ny area code - my dad just gave me my phone and phone number and apparantly i have voicemail and when i go ot check it it asks for a TEMPORARY password ... i tried 1234, 0000 but it says niether work and try again later? what is it supposed to be??? its 9pm here alreay

dude have you ever tried calling a cellular service operator at 9pm on a sat night? i tried 611 but they put me on hold for hours and i NEVER GOT THROUGH. .. i was hoping someone might know the specific number

hmm i just tried the last 4 digits but it didnt work - im sure its some random thing that they assign at the att store but i wasnt their when my dad got it ...

i checked att wireless but they didnt have any number to call about this

it's usually 1234. Maybe 4321? Your only hope is to call 611 and when it says english/spanish just press 0 and it'll take u to an operator.
