Now realize that you no longer work as a telephone operator for J. Crew but you are
a Grad Student in the Electrical Engineering Department. ( Guy to Girl ratio: 37:1)

And you spend your time running around saying things like "ratio".

Maybe for Grad level EE's it might be that bad, but the Tute's made much headway in the past 20 years or so. When I started the entire campus was 19:1. You got to go to the management school or the biology dept for most of the on campus women...

Back on topic, it's bad, my fleet has ground to a halt over night. On a dail-up I let SQ hit the servers every 5 minutes the entire night, it uploaded 5 out of about 60 results and d/l'ed nothing 🙁

I think I'm going to send the entire queue folder to work with the wife, she has a nice low latency University backbone connection and she starts work at 3am Berkeley time 🙂

Yes at the undergrad level it is only 3:1

But ever try to get an undergrad to talk to a grad student?

And all night I think I got 15WU uploaded and not nearly enough down loaded.

I complete a WU every 7-8 minutes and I am just not pulling down new WU's fast enough.

Hopefully the weekend will be nice. 😱
