Ok here the deal i have a X6800 with the Ultra 120 with a 120mm fan with another fan on the top and another fan blowing out on the other side now the question i have is my idle temp on speed fan shows me doing about 22C but when i throw it under load it does about 40 to 41C does this idle temp seem wrong or is this anyway possible to have temps like this at idle speeds?

My E6600 idles at 25C on stock cooling. This is at a reduced voltage with SpeedStep on. It goes up to about 40C or so when running SuperPi. Your temps are probably normal with SpeedStep, and better cooling than I've got.

[blah] my E6300 idles at 47c 450*7 stock voltage, zalman 7700. 66-68c full load dual prime. [end blah]

ok i tried that program called coretemp and both cores says it idles at about 36c and under load its about 51c that seems pretty high under load with the Ultra 120 cooling i use what you guys think i just installed the CPU about 3 days ago.
