Questiosn about cables! AHH!

Just wondering, can i use my older ATA/33 drives w/ newere ATA/100, or ATA/66 Cables? I'm planning to use my ATA/33 Hard drive w/ a ECS K7S5A mobo.

they're the same basic cable, except the ata 66 / 100 cables have 40 extra grounds....the 40 "main" wires are always the same
