Questios about response time (Dell 2407WFP)

I'm planning to upgrade my monitor from Dell 1901 to Dell 2407. Looking at the spec, for the 2407, response time is 16ms (black to white) and 6ms (gray to gray). What's the difference between the two? Which one should I be more concern about when purchasing flat panel monitor?

Also, for those who has a Dell 2407WFP, can you please tell the the actual width and height of the screen (not including the bezel)? I want to get an idea of the size comparing to my 1901. Thanks!

gray to gray is "typically" more important.

Screen hight is around 13", and width around 20.5" (not including the bezel). Though you will only appreciate the size when you see it in front of you.
