I just installed a ecs p4m800pro v2 board with a 6320.
It boots so fast I cant tell what version of bios it has, no can I see how it is identifying the memory. Is there a way to find these things out?
I had 2 512 pc400 in it and xp always understated the memory at 986 or some strange lower number, but it ran ok.
I just installed 2 1gb pc667, the board calls for pc533. When it boots now it still gives me the low 986 meg from the other memory. When it boots I cant see if its verifying the memory. I tried resaving the bios but that did not help.Reseated memory too. I am asking for any help on this, maybe its simple and I am missing something? thanks
