Vehicle Background
1992 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4x4 "Z" Model.
I drive on average less than 60 miles every two weeks with less than 20 of those miles in stop and go traffic.
The engine has almost or is over 150K miles on it (it's been awhile since a bothered to check)

Closest Auto Parts Stores Near Me:

Advanced Auto Parts
Murray's Discount Auto Parts (Same Company As Above)
Autozone
NAPA Auto Parts (I've never been there so I'd prefer to keep it to the 3 above.)
Pep Boy's (The closest is 20 miles away, so 40 miles round trip isn't exactly what I'd want, so same boat as NAPA).

Question 1: Starter

Would a "100% new" starter come with a solenoid switch or would I have to buy one separately?

Cause this really doesn't tell me much.

Obviously, I could just go up to my local store, but I don't have the money to purchase it at this very moment (I don't get my pay check until Wednesday and cannot cash until Thursday; which is the day I will be replacing this..)

I did notice their cheaper remanufactured unit does include one according the their product description...

but I don't trust these chock-ful or informative descriptions

Question 2: Air Filters (Budget $15)
Which one of these air filters will perform it's job best?

Fram Extra Life Air Filter
AC Delco Air Filter
Purolator Ait Filter
Fram Tough Guard Air Filter <--- My Choice ATM.

Question 3: Oil Filters (Budget: $10)
Which of these Oil Filters will keep my engine running at its best?

AC Delco Filter
Bosch Premium Filter
Fram Tough Guard Filter
Purolator Premium Plus Filter
Fram High Mileage Filter <---- My Choice ATM.

Starter: A rebuilt unit should be fine. And the starter should always come with a solenoid on it, unless they specifically say that it doesn't have one, or it's for an old car that has a separate, remote, solenoid.

Air filter: A basic Fram is fine.

Oil Filter: Bosch or Purolator. Do not, under any circumstances, use Fram.

Thanks 🙂

On a side note:
Spent a few hours googling and came across this and it seems to contain some interesting information so I am going to read it.
Oil Filter Information

Rather interesting article actually. It seems that the newer Bosch Oil Filters and made by Purolator, but Bosch seems to have some pull in it.

From what I gathered reading the Bosch Filter's performance level would be in between Purolator's Premium Plus and Pure One Lines. In fact it's practically stepping on the toes of the Pure One Filter.

I've also learned that Fram anything is crap.
