I just bought a samsung 191t and a Visiontek ti4600 128mb ($200 at Best buy). I am using the monitor on the digital cable. When i bring up the monitor menu most of the items are listed as not available including contrast. Is this just the way a digital monitor on a digital video card sets itself up?

In the adapter settings under windows xp it shows that i can set this monitor up to as high as 85mhz. Right now i have it set to 60mhz. Are there any benifits or drawbacks to setting it to the higher refresh rate?

I'm using my 1900FP (191T rebadge) on analog (connected to my laptop). But at home I have a Planar LCD on DVI, many things where not avaliable but I was still able to adjust constrast and brightness (in fact I think those where the only two adjustments).

I just bought a 191T as well this weekend as well and noticed the same thing that a lot of the adjustments are locked out when using DVI. I'm not sure how much you paid but CompUSA is selling it for $900 w/ a $100 rebate.
