I want to save up and buy a Palm M100 as a toy, I was wondering if they Comes with one of those cradle things to recharge, like default package. Also, Can you put a lot/good games on the thing?
Thanks

you can get one at circuit city now for $75 after 25 rebate - cheapest i've seen em about $60
somewhat limited by 2 mg memory limit(non-expandable unles you "hack" it.
the standard palm m100 comes with a cable to conect to your computer. no docking cradle (you don't really need one). most people usem as a calculator, a collection of phone numbers, and games.
if you have the money, probably better to get a model with more memory (handspring or palm m105, or one that is expandable).

No cradle, but seemingly not a huge inconvenience. The cable has a button on it, which starts the sync process.

We replaced all our pcs and got Dells at the office recently and got one of these things free for every machine we ordered, which was an unexpected bonus. I think everyone finds it useful, especially as we run on Outlook 2000. And I can expect everyone to be on time for meetings... (or I can expect 'oops sorry, run out of batteries' to become the next great excuse)

We have a Palmmaniac in the office and apparently there is a very good selection of games, 3rd party software, etc. The limited memory on the M100 may stop you loading everything you want though.

I personally don't use an M100, preferring a Sony Clie as my new PDA, but I think the M100 is basically a Palm III in a different case, which I did find very handy a few years ago.
