Hey I thank all of you in advance =] I have a few questions about o/c using cool bits. I have an Asylum BFG gf4 ti4200 128 ram w/ stock cooling I am not going to add anything
1. If I format does my vid card stay o/c'ed or I need to reinstall coolbits and re-o/c it?
2. How exactly do I do it?increase core by 5 run 3dmax and keep going until i see artifacts? then repeat for ram? or do I do it for ram first and then the core?
3. I know there is no BEST program but is riva tuner better for o/c vidcard? If yes what can it do that coolbits can't?
4. Does www.guru3d.com have the newest coolbits?

Coolbits is fine, and yes youll need to reinstall it and re OC your card. And bumping up by 5 at a time will work just fine.

You bump it until you crash or get artifacts. I dont think the ram gets as high as on the 64mb versions though. I would start with core, bump up around 5 untnil you see a lockup. Then bump it back down and test it again, then go for the ram. usually when you start getting artifacts you should drop the ram back down, but people who use cards just to get high 3dmark scores let it run with artifacts.
