Hello everyone, I am looking into purchasing the cooler master haf x 942 case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-225-_-Product
This case has the 200mm side panel fan, a 230mmfront panel fan, 2 top 200mm fans, and the back 140mm fan. I am trying to figure out the best fan configuration to keep my system as cool as possible. The main question I have is dealing with intake & exhaust with the fans(sorry noob question inc). Do you..
(A)have to somehow set your fan to work as intake or exhaust OR
(B)are certain fans made for intake and certain fans made for exhaust??
If you have to set intake/exhaust, How do i go about doing that??
Assuming situation (A), I'm thinking about doing the following fan settings for the case(and I am aware that this case doesn't come with ALL fans so I'll have to buy a few):
Front 230mm fan: set to intake
Side panel 200mm fan: set to intake
Back 140mm fan: set to exhaust
2 top 200mm fans: exhaust
What do you think??
