Questions on (DRM) EME Free Version of Firefox 38

Waiting on version 38.0.2 of Firefox release that is EME free. Only because I read here on Anandtech that multiple posters are finding problems with the current version.

In the meantime I have questions, regarding the download. I see 2 files available. Do I have to delete the version of Firefox (37.0.2) on my Window 7 laptop, before downloading and installing 38.0.2 (when available)? Also how do I install the 2 files? Which do I install first? I see the small one references PGP. I appreciate any wisdom you care to share.

It should upgrade in place. The gpg file isn't necessary unless you want to check the validity of the download. If you have a fear of mitm attack, it can be useful. Might be useful anyway to get familiar with cryptography, and package signing. See this page from Tor for checking package signatures in Windows...

I've never had an issue with ff crashing...just flash.
