I'm a Computer Phone Technician, I do build my own systems. However one thing I never checked in on. Is it possible ot Modify some of the NEWER AT cases to support ATX System Boards?

Only reason I'm asking is that I have an ATX board on the way, I figured I'd have to buy a case, but I noticed I still had a newer AT case about 5 or 6 months ago and was trying to save myself some money.

Is it possible to Mod an AT to an ATX?

However after checking the threads, I noticed that an ATX PS costs nearly the same as a new CHEAP case.

If the mod is possible, is it worth doing? Otherwise I have an AT case with screws and panels and nothing to do with it.

It's possible, but IMO, not really worth doing. Just give me that AT case ;)

I believe the difference is in the back plane, change it to 1 that fits, and it should work.

Well after thinking about the design of the case, etc.. I think BA is right, best to just leave well enough alone and buy a cheap ATX case.
