I would not recommend tap water for any testing..too many contaminates..distilled water is so cheap..test for leaks with it

As for an additive you will get alot of opinions...you can use distilled water alone ..many at XS do with no issues

HydrX was recommended by Hardwarrior here ..with very good results

I use Zerex racing coolant(not antifreeze)...Pentosin will work well also

no regular water is to near watercooling equipment.

distilled water is the absolute best you can use.

stuff like that is not required. its just fancy.
