Hope this helps,

I don't have the hold button on.. it's completely turned off.. so would the battery being drained in a week with no use be a defective product? I don't know if thats normal or not...

3) 10 GB really is enough for me. Is the Wired remote , Carrying case w/ belt clip and iPod Dock worth another 100 clams?

4) Yes or No.......would YOU buy another one knowing what you know now?

5) Which one accessory (if any) do you consider a must have?

1. Battery life seems fine for me, not sure how long it last but on my commute to school (70min each way) and inbetween classes which is an hour or so give or take.
2. No clue... I'm using a Mac
3 . I own the 10GB one. I wished i got the bigger one just so i can get the cool looking dock ;-)
4. YES
5. I would like to know to :)
