Sorry, I am not a geek. I am a Motorola tech so I guess I better not answer your question.

You should have gotten the equipment protection. $50 and you'd have another v60v in your hands.
I've used my equipment protection in the past to replace my Samsung I300 and then the I330. Well worth the money.

After bitching and moaning I got replacement but new challenge came up

I own Motorola V60v my internal lcd completely died on me, after argument with business rep they sending me replacement. The only problem I have in that phone I have phonebook with numbers that I can't retrieve no other way.

Do you think if I buy data cable I can retrieve phone numbers on the pc? what software should i use

I also thought of buying V60I prepaid phone on clearance and switch lcd screen

Please help I need to retrieve phone numbers

I left my phone out in the sunlight (inside a car) before... it was only about 3-4 hours and it was practically dead... saved it though - barely. How long did you leave it in direct sunlight ? That was a pretty dumb thing to do on purpose.
