is - bad, almost no hiring.
was - great, got offer anywhere I interviewed
will be - ? dunno. Hopefully moderate.

It should be fine when you graduate. If not, go to grad school and wait it out

I had plenty, Sophmore year on, Summer internships were full time, and during the year i had internships

That's pretty much it. It's tougher now, but there are still jobs for good engineers.

oh ya, how did you guys go about getting your jobs/internships before you graduated (summers)?
