Questions concerning my new wireless mouse

I just bought this mouse yesterday for my desktop:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/produ...etails/US/EN,CRID=2135,CONTENTID=12004

I went for this instead over the "gaming/desktop" versions because it's smaller and more comfortable in my hands. However, I tried playing WoW with it last night and it seems to lag a small bit when the game performance slows down. Is this normal for a wireless laptop mouse playing games on a desktop? When I'm surfing the web etc. it performs flawlessly.

To clarify what I mean by lag, sometimes I'll move the mouse left but the cursor doesn't move at all for about a second as if it picked the mouse up from the surface (it never "catches up" to where it should have gone) Does this indicate a connection issue? I was sitting the same distance away surfing the web with no problems. It only happens when there's a lot going on inside the game.

Do you have any other devices that are interfering with the wireless connection? It's possible that you'd getting overhead from other devices causing a mix-up in signal. Also does the mouse have a power saving feature that turns it off after x amount of time causing the lag? Lastly, have you tried it on any other games?

No interferance, haven't tried other games, and not sure about that feature but it's definatley not "timing out" because it happens while I'm using it frequently.

I think I'm just going to stick with a wired mouse for games.

That may be the best bet (sticking to wired), or it may somehow be a setting in WoW, but I highly doubt it. Wireless mice take a bit to get used to, at least they did for me, but once you use them I prefer them over a wired mouse any day. Your link doesn't exactly take me to the mouse either...what model is it?
