Questions about Z170M-Plus Please help

Hello everybody! Is the z170m-plus a good motherboard? I just put together some of my new build and I'm starting to regret my purchase. It was advertised as having the potential of a regular ATX board but with a smaller footprint. However, as the so-called "flagship," it doesn't support SLI, has only two fan connectors (while my matx case has like 5), and the sound might not be as good as some of their similarly priced ATX motherboards. Also, does anyone know how the m.2 express works? I heard it shuts down one or some of my PCIE lanes but I don't know which is which and I hope it doesn't brick a one of the crossfire lanes. Anyway I hope I can get a good OC on my 6700k with this motherboard. Thanks for your time and answers.

You will be fine. The M.2 shares bandwidth with SATA Express. You have 16 lanes, so you can get good crossfair. Just make sure you have 1000W PSU because AMD CF needs a lot of juice.

Dont worry about the PCIe lanes, a normal VGA card even at 8x PCIe speed you wouldnt see much difference. (check online articles) .
But its all good with that one.
