Ok, i just started working at this job last week and we're going to be getting new internet service cause they're being ripped off at the moment.
I'm pretty sure everything will be OK on this end, but we have an office in san jose (we're in LA) that VPN's to this office to access an oracle database and a few shares on our network. The only problem is, I have really not a great understanding of how VPN's work.
We have a webramp 700s that has one "current IPSec security association" with that office set up in it's VPN tab, but i'm a bit confused as to how it works exactly. The IPsec gateway address is an IP address that belongs to our SJ office, so i'm assuming that they just have a static IP attached to their router up there.
I guess what i'm trying to ask is if we get a new static IP here with our new broadband service, do I just need to have the people in the san jose office point their VPN to our new IP and everything will be cool?
Thanks
