When I encode using Canopus Procoder, the resulting clip seems very pixellated (ie. it looks like a game with no anti-aliasing) when played with PowerDVD. However, the same clip encoded with TMPEnc Xpress is fine.
The source video aspect ratio is set to 4:3 and the pixel aspect ratio is set to square pixel in Procoder. For the target the aspect ratio code is set to 4:3. So what the heck is going on??
Anyway, which program is better for encoding to DVD?? Procoder or TMPMEnc Xpress??
Also, is there quality loss when going from a interlaced source to a progressive target? Should I even do that(I usually encode DVDs) or should I keep the source and target both either interlaced or both progressive??
