I've got a friend who's looking for a van to put in all his tools in. He runs his own buisness and does renovations. Big Ford ecno lines and all them with big v8's in them aren't what he's looking for. He's looking for something which is a little smaller preferabably with a 6 cylinder engine.

Who makes those types of vans? They are like the size of passenger vans, but without the seats in them.

Thanks

If your tools of your living are going to stay in it bolt/weild a large construction tool box big enough to containe as much of your high value tools as possible. Get the type of box with recessed lock assy.so bolt cutters cant be used. Nothing worse then loosing work cause someone swiped your tools.

I drive vans as a second job. The Ford E350 line is really nice. They drive nice and have decent power, although I've only driven v8 and v10s. I absolutely hate those Chevy Vans. The rear wheels are set way too far back, it turns like a city bus. Drivers seat is uncomfortable and the tranny sucks.

LOL

sorry you are not happy with chevy vans,
the one i own at this time has 273,000 miles on it.
It was owned by a coffee service outfit,until about a year &1/2 ago,when i bought it.

The only reason i bought this one,and sold the previous chevy van i owned,is;
#1) This one has factory A/C,
#2)my old one did not have A/C
#3) i bought this van cheap,and sold the other van cheap.

I have owned Chevy vans, {all G-20 series} since 1983.

I have had one tranny die,in all that time,and it was because of Previous owner/driver abuse.

they have all been V8's,and the spark plugs are a pain to change,you have to get a few from underneath
the vehicle,{waah}

The seats are made to be durable,and are wide for a fatish person like,Me,LOL

I did in a van i had about 10 years ago,go to the junk yard a got a bucket seat from an old GM Big
car,that was a cloth seat,and yes it was more comfy. ;)

Have not bothered to do that with this van,or the one previous. :)
