I want to upgrade my computer and I want to make sure all the parts I'm buying are compatible with my motherboard.

Here are the technical specifications for my motherboard:
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dimxpsg4/sm/miller_i.htm#wp1052939

I was planning on adding:

A 2nd 160g Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16822136075
2 Sticks of 1GB DDR 533 Ram:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820144209
And an XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card
http://www.tigerdirect.com/app...=3048552&Sku=P450-8650

The Goal for my computer after I upgrade it is:
Intel Pentium 4 CPU @ 3.4GHZ
4 GB DDR2 533 Ram
XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card

My 2 Questions are:
1. Are the above parts compatible with my motherboard, and if not which ones would you suggest.
2. How do you think my computer will handle some of the newer games?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You'll have to be a little bit more specific about which games. An 8600 GT should be just fine for something like Team Fortress 2. For Crysis, it's underpowered.

Enough for COD4 and Orange Box I believe.
Depending on resolutions, you might need to lower or turn off AA.

wait a little while for the 9600 series to come out, at the very least it will lower the price on the 8600, so far it appears to be significantly faster, the main question is will there be one in your price range.

I'd say try and stretch your budget to an AMD 3850, it'll do you much better than the 8600.
