questions about "tool-less" cases

Hi all. I have a question about "tool-less" cases. The concept is interesting, but I do not like the thought of having cheap-looking plastic rails holding my 5.25" drives in place. I have always used screws and will most likely continue to do so. My question - can those drive rails be removed and can you still use screws in these "tool-less" cases (in a Centurion 5 for example)? Thanks in advance.

Paint the rails with a nice glossy black or something. Make them look metallic.

As for your actual question...well...I would imagine there's too much space between the harddrive and the actual case to be able to get a screw in there

Most rail mount cases offer a way to use screws too if you want. On mine Rosewill R5604, the screws go into the rails and the rails mount to the drives.
