Just so I understand, a 2018 MacBook Pro and 2018 Mac Mini each have 4 TB3 ports. Apparently, they each have 2 TB3 titan ridge controllers. Each controller is capped at 40gb/s and there are two TB3 ports per controller? So the 2 ports would be sharing 40gb/s of bandwidth, correct?
Are there any Macs with 4 TB3 ports where all ports operate at 40gb/s? Does the iMac Pro which uses Xeon and may have more PCIe lanes free?
