Questions About the Thermalright ULTRA-120 Extreme

I am building a new computer, and plan on using the Thermalright ULTRA-120 Extreme heatsink to cool my CPU. However, I am unsure of whether or not it will fit. Given the following motherboard, CPU, and case, would anyone be able to tell me if it should fit fine?

Specifically I am buying:

AMD Phenom 9600 (the heatsink is compatible with the AM2, should it also be compatible with AM2+?)
Gigabyte MA790FX-DS5 (will the heatpipes on the motherboard get in the way of the heatsink?)
ECA5000 Uber Chakra (I bought the version with the 25cm fan on the side, will the heatsink be too and thus be blocked by the fan?)

Thank you in advance for your help 🙂

Generally a case that is at least 8" wide will safely fit the U120, but side vent fans often get in the way at that width. I don't think it will fit with that monster fan. Nice case though. 😉

Ah, thanks for the reply, do you think the Thermalright ULTIMA-90 would work then? It's about 2.15cm shorter than the Ultra-120.
