Questions about the p 180 or nicer case

Ok well i see every 1 raving about the p 180 and while it looks good im very funny ehrn it comes to cases.

I dont care about how nice it looks ect all im conserned about is 2 things. Air flow and how easy it is to put in and remove parts.

Is the air flow on the p 180 better than most other cases
Ive also seen some sweet jobs on cable managment si i figure it is a roomy case and easy to work in.

The P180 definetly has good airflow, especially if you put fans in it -- I dont know why you wouldn't. The case has the removable HDD cages so that's a plus too. It also has the sliding door to keep the heat seperated from the top and bottom chamber. I have an Audigy 2 ZS myself... and I'm pretty sure it would fit. The knobs aren't an inch long and I think the clearance from the door is over an inch... correct me if I'm wrong.

lol ofcourse i will put fans in it. its just alot of money for a case so it better be far superior in eveyr aspect than otehr cases. note i dont give a f*** about sound. if it sounds like a 474 taking off i dont care. wat i do care about is cooling. also how easy is it to hide the cables behind the mobo tray. ive sen some sweet jobs and id love to do the same do i need to buy special sata and ide cable ? if so wat should i get cause id order thme one time

UPS just delivered a P180 to me about 30 minutes ago. Besides documentation (short) I am very impressed with it. I have not installed anything but from all the reviews I have read, the main problem is wiring from power supply (since it's now located at the bottom) to your motherboard. Otherwise everything is well designed. You can pull the hard drive bay out, put your HD in then slide the bay back in, then connect the cables, very straight forward. The case comes with 3 fans, one on the top, one on the bottom, one on the back. There is a fan tray right in front of the HD bay to cool your HD.

i'm ordering mine next week, can't wait. post pics 😛

MY question is....in the pics it looks like the front door blocks the air vents to the front fans.....is this the case? How do the front fans pull air into the case?

The front bezel has slits on the side to allow air to be pulled in. It prevents a direct path of noise from the front while allowing more than adequate airflow from outside.

It has excellent airflow potential at reasonable sound levels although you are not interested in the latter. It is easy to work in if you are a patient person, but if not than its gonna make you crazy. Putting in and removing parts can be hard or easy depending on how you wire it and if you zip-tie a lot. Wiring the P180 is a feat in itself. G-Luck if you get it 😉.....The pros of the P180 greatly outweigh the cons.

One thing I like about the Coolermaster Wave is that the front fan intakes are below the drive bays. I never liked how my Dell would pull dust through the floppy and cdrom.

is their a guide somewhere that shows me how to do a proper wiring job and wat i should buy. ive been using old cases for years never saw the need to spend so much moula on a case before
