Can I make one by separately buying each piece?

At newegg, when you click on bare-bones pc's, and then shuttle, there are a few shuttle pc's.


Now what parts do they have? Like Case, Motherboard, PSU, etc?

What is included varies depending on which model you buy.
Case, mobo, PSU, cooling, integrated sound, lan e.t.c. are included.

Bare minimum you'll need to add CPU,HD,RAM( + keyboard,mouse and monitor).
Some models have onboard graphics some don't.
All recent models that I can think of have AGP and 1 PCI slot.

Some have integrated USB card readers, WiFi e.tc.
You'll need to pick the right model for your needs.

Well SFF pcs are normally cheap to build since expensive parts like case, psu and mobo are already bought. When buying a sff pc, you need a drive, hdd,video card(unless onboard is fine) processor and whatever you decide to do with your last pci slot. Id also buy some thermal grease and something to cool ure video card. I suggest the really nice looking brushed aluminum type a64 unit that shuttle has out. Its gorgeous and works great.

ALso voodoopc has an athlon 64 sffpc with a 5700 ultra for like 1500 shipped which isnt bad.

SFF PCs are NOT cheap to build. Like you said, you get a case, mobo, psu, and also a heatsink, but this will cost you AT LEAST $200. Mine cost me $375 + tax. I still had to buy a video card, CPU, hard drive, optical drive, RAM, and wireless card. In the end, my system cost well over $1000. They're nice to have and fun to play with, but you're going to pay a premium for one.
