Hi folks,

It has been sometime since I built a new PC, and since I last posted here.

I am looking for some clarity / understanding around SLI first off, and then iGPU (integrate GPU on CPU).

First Question: I am planning on build my new PC with SLI in mind, but with 2 video cards and 4 DVI-D connections, does it matter which one I plug the Monitor into? (I only have a single monitor)

Second Question: without SLI (single video card) and I wanted to run Windows OS with the "onboard" GPU (i7-2600K) and gaming from the video card, which connector do I plug the monitor into; the one on the motherboard back panel or the video card?

Third Question: Same as the second question, but with SLI?

Thanks in advance for any information / guidance.

I've always used one of the DVI ports from the top card (closest to CPU) and have never had an issue with SLI.

It goes to the motherboard back panel.

If it works with SLI it would be the same as a single card.
